I've finally got round to editing my website. Weebly has a better mobile interface now so should be better. Been a strange start to the year, either awful or leading! Have been working hard on consistency. The LET for the first time has had a qualifier for the US Open and I got through. Pinehurst in one weeks time, I can't wait to get there and experience it. I hope this is going to be an event of leading not awful!! It has been a very slow start to the year, it's june and I've only played three events, at the start of 6 in a row now, and I feel I'm ready to play like I know I can. Come on 2014, be nice to me! |

Awful year! Well, I have one more event left, Dubai! I am only going there as I need to play well to keep my card! I am very lucky as we have a category that I could play a few events in as I am in the top 50 in career money but I don't want to use that, I want to play as a player who kept her card! Funny year, still think about what happened in germany and my 3rd place which didn't count at all to the money list, the right decision but alittle unfair as South Africa had counted which was the same. Think neither should of counted! Why did it bother me so much? No idea, because I think I hadn't been playing well and that was my way to relax knowing card kept and all safe. Anyway, one more week to play well in the warmth if Dubai, can't wait to get there, some warm weather, short game could be alittle rusty. Fingers crossed all gos well and I am already looking forward to 2014! Wow, time is going so fast! I've been wallpapering in my two weeks off for my parents! Am very proud of it!! 😃 And love a bit of baking! Bread and pies! Well, I really am terrible at keeping up to date! Maybe in a year where things sent going to good I just try and keep my head down. Am in archerfield this week for the Scottish open and am feeling a little inspired after watching the European girls comprehensively win the solheim cup. They were fantastic. Yes you will hear people say its because they holes lots of putts but they hit it in close so it was hard to miss! Have been working hard with my coach and have a really good feeling, am hoping that this week or next week in Sweden is going to be a great week for me. Fingers crossed. Keep an eye on the www.bhwt.org I've done an article on my chickens and golf! Not sure if I'm ready yet for the start of the 2013 season, seems to of been a long time off and then came up on me too quick! Started solid yesterday but let it slip on the back nine, need to get back into making birdies again. Only one yesterday. Have a lot of work to do not only today but for the next few weeks ready for this year. Get a good swing thought and go from there. Trust is a hard thing, some shots were great but then my normal steer came in, maybe not hit enough balls in the Baltic UK! Should I but an apartment in portugal. Have to play well if I do! More pressure! Do I need it? I love my job but hate it too!
That's it, Europe based events are over! What a fun year I've had, lost my swing for only 3 weeks of the year, have stayed around 20th on our order of merit and after the Poor 2010 and 11 it's great to be back playing. I haven't finished playing yet for the year, on Saturday I fly to Jakarta for a aisan tour event before two LET events in china! Never been to aisa before and am very nervous. My best friend is playing in Jakarta too which it will be great to share the experience with her and then on to china and traveling with two other girls and its far to say I'm nervous! Getting lost in airports is a speciality of mine, at least in Europe I kind of know where to go and who with!
Had my jabs today and my arm is killing me, need to que for my visa pick up in the morning and also do 5000 other jobs before I leave on Thursday! People say this is glam! Not sure! Glam for me was making some nice onion soup for my mum as she has a cold and doing lots of normal things I can't do while I'm away! Am going to try to add more photos from my next few weeks, keep it more up to date! And I miss my chicken!!!
Its been an interesting year so far, golf was great to start with and the last few weeks have been tough. Things to realise is that game is strange, it comes and gos and we have to go with the flow. Played well last week in tenerife and looking forward to france next week.
Away from golf my last little chicken died, wa very very sad, yes it was a chicken but it thought it was a dog!!! It was perfectly fit and went to sleep and never woke up. Was the perfect way to go. She spent the start of her life in a cage and had the best retirament home with more love than she could wish. Am now going to the beach with friends for lunch! Am very lucky! (Am in portugal!!) After such a hectic schedule start to the year it has been nice to have a few weeks off, although the golf I was playing I am not sure I wanted a break!! Lost my swing a little in south Africa but have spent the last week grooving my swing ready for Ireland next week. Still got one chicken, she thinks she's a dog!! She follows us around and is loving life! Getting pampered most days and has eaten most of the strawberrys that my mum grew! (grapes her favourite!) Evian masters this week and what a tournament it is. Going to be the fifth major from next year and I hope that I can qualify to get back into it. The course is one of the best I have ever played and I the Evian area is truly spectacular. Next year!
Now in Portugal for a few days practice and to relax before back on the events, going to help deliver leaflets for my friends massage company, he really is very good www.taylormadetherapy.weebly.com Fingers crossed I can keep this form going! More hard work and more Dukan diet! SA Open has been a fantastic week. I love SA, the people are some of the best that we get to meet all year. Has been an interesting week, it amazes me how much I learn about myself each week. I know I have alot of work now to make sure I am at the top of my game for the open. Can't wait!
