British Hen Welfare Trust
I love animals and a few years ago we got some hens from this charity. When caged hens get passed there best for laying they are taken from the cages and slaughterd, this charity takes the hens and offers them for rehoming. We had 6 girls, they turned up looking like something you would buy from the shop with no feathers and sad, now, they are the happiest chickens in the world enjoying retirement and we love the eggs.
